Raya Kita

This might sounds mushy, but yeah. I cant wait to celebrate our raya together.

I remembered texting him during last year's raya, something like its gonna be our last raya being single, and hell it's true!!! We didnt tell anyone about our plan (despite planning on our own to get engaged on raya haji) and was ecstatic to know it becoming real.

Went back to A's house (pulang ke pangkuan suami?) last week and went to hunt for raya outfit.

Got myself 3pairs and him 1..Shah Alam was the best place to shop for baju raya i tell you. At least for me coz I love my baju to bits. Was looking for some chunky bracelets and earings too but couldnt find one, now I regret for not buying the ones I liked at Diva since none I could find in Kuantan.

Remember when you are a kid there's always at least 2sets of baju, traditional and modern?

I want to bring back my childhood since I've left my singlehood (makes sense?), so does A. He wanted to replace his Gap jeans which dont-know-where-he-put so we headed to OU during one of the days. (i mean cuti merdeka) On the way, there was a song that sounded like this "Aku berpaut pada.....sejengkal tali cuma.." Remember? So we played a bet. I was 105% sure that it was Azian Mazwan Safwan that I went to agree upon buying him a Gap jeans if I lost. I remembered singing that song when I was in primary school and Ning didnt exist that earrrrly right? So of course I lost. And I sulked along the way and actually that was the best weapon to un-bet the bet. So lesson learnt. Ning is classic.

However, both of us didnt buy the jeans, he couldnt find the one he liked and me, suddenly felt it was such a waste to buy now knowing it wont fit me anymore.

Ok back to raya.

This year around I bought 7jars of cookies, costed me so much that later on, I decided to make my own. Rolled the mini popia by myself till my back strained so bad, so settled for only 1packet.
Ordered from Ogy's in laws kerepek originally from Jawa Sabak Bernam, it was so good that actually been buying from her for years.

The reason for overflowing of cash for raya this year obviously because I have 2families now.
Obvious isnt it?


By the way, cant wait to button and unbutton his baju melayu on the blissful raya morning.
Bersalaman, asking for forgiveness.
Introduce him to my father and me, get introduced to his mother.
Strutting in our matching outfit around kampong.

And I want to tell him that everyday is raya with him, albeit the fight.
